We have managed to track down the original pub sign; and we are having it restored and returned to the pub.

We are sourcing new photos to include Bury FC players and other local teams.

How did this issue arise? Somehow the designers Enterprise Inns engaged gained the mistaken impression that the pub was a MUFC pub!

All this happened before we were available to be consulted and it is something we are only too happy to change !

We are, truly, determined that The Footballers' Inn is very much a community pub and is not to be seen as a Manchester United pub.

We have introduced a Tea-Time Club with better value drinks. Monday-Friday 3-7.

We are delighted to announce that we are donating £200 to the pensioner's Christmas Party.

We're local residents ourselves; we have always known The Footballers Inn as a strong and integral part of the local community. We intend to work to make that remains true in the future.

This donation is to help remedy the funding shortfall caused by the pub's closure over the summer.
